Our Story
LT Stocktaking was founded by Bill Rendon in April 2006 starting initially with two clients using an excel spreadsheet. The client base then grew and during this period Bill developed a new stocktaking system to cater more for the client’s needs. Due to the increase in the number of sites he introduced 2 more Stocktakers to help continue to provide the quality that he believes his clients deserve. We are a forward-thinking organisation and believe that our role is to ensure that the client has the correct controls and information to enable them to run a successful business.
Bill Rendon
Director
Bill Rendon, Chief Executive at LT Stocktaking, brings almost four decades of experience to his trade. Born into the licensed trade Bill started working with Whitbread at the age of 17. Bill then spent 29 years working at Whitbreads / Laurel Pub Company. Starting off as a stocktaker, Bill progressed through the company to become head Stocktaker. Then, ultimately senior auditor at the organisation. During his time at Whitbreads, Bill was responsible for ensuring that the profit & loss accounts for some 200 sites were accurate. He was also responsible for managing the stocktaking system and the till system for these sites. In addition to his core duties and the skills he picked up while climbing the company ladder, Bill has also single-handedly built a stocktaking system based on his many years of experience at Whitbreads, as well as other tricks of the trade that he has learned over his career. More than one organisation has adopted Bill’s approach to stocktaking. Following his successful and lengthy time working for Whitbreads, Bill founded LT Stocktaking in April 2006, where he has served as Owner and Chief Executive of the organisation ever since.
Mary Ellison
Stocktaker
Mary works as a Stocktaker for LT Stocktaking. Her role is to ensure accurate counts are completed and then to advise the management team of the results, as well as to provide coaching on areas of concern. She will also assist Bill with the initial consultations for clients. Like Bill, Mary brings a wealth of experience to her role. She had previously worked at Whitbread’s for 28 years. Mary spent 6 years with Herald Inns & Bars / Cougar Leisure working particularly closely with hotels, bars and restaurants and night clubs. Her core duties included general stock take and auditing as well as delivering customer service and analysing reports. She has worked in her current role at LT Stocktaking for the past eight years.
